LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT SECTOR


Village Development Programme : Janasadhana has experience of implementing Village Development Programme in Banki block of Cuttack district covering about 1,00,000 population in 4 panchayats sponsored by NABARD .
Handicraft & Handloom development Programme: We have implemented handicraft cluster development programme in Soro & Ouapada block of Balasore 009district, sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India for the development of 500 numbers of stone carving artisans. readymade garments making, Handicraft Items (Stone Carving, Appliqu�, Terracotta, wooden toys & candle making), Handlooms Items (Saree, Dhoti, Lungies, Scarf etc. of both Cotton and tosser materials), with the help of different Agencies like STATE HANDICRAFT, ORMAS, SIDAC, NABARD, MISSION SAKTI, DRDA, DIC, KVIC etc.
Skill Development/Vocational Training Programme : It has provided Vocational Training to the women SHGs on Badi, Pampada, Spices, incensticks , Pickles, invitation & greetings cards, readymade garments making, Handicraft Items (Stone Carving, Appliqu�, Terracotta, wooden toys & candle making), Handlooms Items (Saree, Dhoti, Lungies, Scarf etc. of both Cotton and tosser materials), Carpets & several other items. with the help of different Agencies like STATE HANDICRAFT, ORMAS, SIDAC, NABARD, MISSION SAKTI, DRDA, DIC, KVIC etc. Besides that we are providing Computer Training Programme, TV/Mobile Repairing Programme etc.
Socio-economic Environment impact assessment study: The organization has conducted Socio-economic Environment impact assessment study in different areas like Soro, Oupada, Banki, Tangi-chowdar, Astaranga, Joda, Badbil, Rourkela, Koida etc. in association with various Govt., semi Govt., Private agencies like Ministry of Textile Govt. of India, NABARD, TATA POWER, Navayuga Engineering Company, Triveni Earth Movers Pvt. Ltd., MGM Mineral Ltd., Nuagaon Iron Mg. Mines, OCL India, Chariot Cement Company etc.
